In about a month, Merideth and Matt will be welcoming a baby girl! Their kitty fur babies will be taking second fiddle for a bit and their lives are undoubtedly about to change in ways that they never expected. I am so excited for them! They've been married for 10 years and have patiently arrived at this moment in their lives. 

Merideth got in touch through a former maternity/newborn client that moved away from San Diego, and I am so glad that she did. We three had a wonderful afternoon getting to know each other, joking around and enjoying the beautiful sunset - we also managed to snap a few photos along the way. These images are without a doubt some of my favorite maternity photos I've captured. We had the most amazing sunset, impressive low tide, and two people who were open and excited for the next step in their life journey. I was just lucky enough to have a peek :)

No joke, the progression of colors from this sunset were incredible! It started sunshine yellow, to light blue and purple, to brilliant orange, and finally a rainbow of purples and oranges. When it happens like this, it's magic.
