This set of family photos goes down in my personal record book as one of the most magical ones. It was our second time getting together - the first was a cake smash for Madison's 1st birthday! We chose Elfin Forest for it's beautiful oak trees and of course Escondido Creek that runs along a trail in the preserve. There isn't much running water in San Diego, so this is a treat. The icing on the cake was the family, who came in some serious style - it couldn't have been more picture perfect and we took full advantage.

The stars aligned for Brittany, Jake, little Madison and myself. Looking back even months later, it still takes my breath away just how beautifully we captured these sweet and stunning family moments at the precipice of baby no.2's arrival! I'm fairly sure that Brittany was actually glowing, braving the brisk water and all - don't forget to scroll to the bottom to see some of her stunning maternity portraits in the middle of the creek. Somebody pinch me! 

I am so thankful I've had the chance to meet this family.
